Viking FM & Magic 1161’s Cash for Kids have launched this year’s Mission Christmas appeal in partnership with O2 Bridlington, who are proud to be the main sponsors to ensure no child in Yorkshire and Northern Lincolnshire wakes up without a gift this Christmas.

Each year gifts are distributed to local children ages between 0-18 identified through social services, charities, children’s centres and other professional bodies who are at risk of not receiving a gift this Christmas.

Last year the Cash for Kids supported more than 14,000 children with around 420 of those living in Bridlington and Scarborough.

Habib Khatib, marketing manager of O2 Bridlington and Scarborough, said: “We are at the heart of the communities we serve and embrace the opportunity to help give something back by bringing some of the happiness of Christmas to those children and young people for whom Christmas may have lost its magic.”

You can drop off your new and unwrapped gifts at O2 Bridlington and O2 Scarborough until 17 December or visit www.vikingfm.co.uk/missionchristmas for a full list of drop off points and other ways to donate. If your organisation needs support contact Cash for Kids on 01482 593193.
