A Bridlington soldier met the Prime Minister last week during David Cameron’s surprise visit to Afghanistan.

Lance Corporal James Drury, is detached from No7 Regiment (based in Germany) and is currently serving with the 904 Expeditionary Air Wing at KAF, in Kandahar.

The Prime Minister was due to visit the main base for British troops at Camp Bastion, but due to a dust storm was forced to change his plans and visit troops in Kandahar instead.
