BRIDLINGTON’S brightest summer show has enjoyed a stunning run at The Spa this summer, with ticket sales doubling on 2010 and takings surpassing those of last year with six shows still to go.

The show has been so successful that The Spa has announced that an extra date has been added to the run, on Thursday September 15 with shows starting at 2pm and 7.30pm.

Showtime at The Spa is headlined by Johnnie Casson, a firm favourite with audiences in his native Yorkshire, known for his hilarious appearances on Des O’Connor’s Tonight Show and widely acknowledged as one of the funniest comedians of his generation.

Andy Eastwood, who completed a nationwide tour, performs on his ukulele and violin to prove why he is one of the best musical speciality acts around.

Theo the Mouse provides side-splitting moments of fun as his long suffering friend Wendy tries to keep him under control.

Britain’s newest singing sensations Richard and Adam Johnson bring their vocal talents to The Spa prior to going into the studio in the autumn to record their debut album.

All these acts are accompanied by four West End style vocalists, six dancers, stars from the Colette Tyler School of Dance as well as exerpts from The Jersey Boys, Mary Poppins and Oliver to make the show fun for all the family.

Tickets are priced at £12 for adults, buy an adult ticket get a child ticket free, £8 for children and £10 concession tickets, on Thursday 15 at 2pm, for senior citizens includes free tea and biscuits.
