A MAN has been handed a 12 month conditional discharge for using threatening behaviour.

Craig Carradice, 30, of Cardigan Road, Bridlington, went to a property on Lansdowne Road on September 22 while walking to his girlfriend’s house and started hurling abuse at the residents. He also kicked a bin.

Michael Waudby, prosecuting, said: “They heard a loud bang outside and the defendant was shouting abuse at them.”

The incident was reported to the police who took Carradice into custody and interviewed him.

He appeared at Bridlington Magistrates Court last Wednesday, where he pleaded guilty to using threatening words or behaviour to cause harassment, alarm or distress.
