A seven-year-old boy is in a critical condition at hospital following a crash in Skipsea.

The boy was airlifted Hull Royal Infirmary where he remains in a “serious condition” after yesterday’s crash.

A spokesperson for Humberside Police said: “Other than the seven year old boy all other people involved in the collision have been released from hospital following treatment for minor injuries.

“The latest updated we received from the hospital in relation to the seven year old boy injured in the collision was at 10am which stated he remains in a serious condition in the Intensive Care Unit.”

The crash happened near Mr Moo’s ice cream parlour on the junction between Hornsea Road and Beeford Road.

Humberside Fire and Rescue attended the scene and freed all three adults and the seven-year-old boy who were trapped.
