Seven men jump out of cars and hit woman in Bridlington

A WOMAN was allegedly verbally abused and hit after seven men jumped out of cars and chased her partner down the street in Bridlington.

Police are appealing for information in connection with the incident, which took place at the junction of Quay Road and Victoria Road in Bridlington between 7.30pm and 8.15pm on Thursday, September 20.

A 22-year-old woman was walking with her partner, before her partner started to walk some distance in front of her and as he did two vehicles are alleged to have pulled up alongside the woman, with around seven men getting out.

The men then proceeded to chase the woman’s partner before they walked back towards her. One of the men, who was in the group is alleged to have been verbally aggressive towards her before hitting her on the forehead.

The woman did not sustain any serious injuries in the incident.

Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to call Humberside Police on the non emergency 101 quoting crime reference number 1931556.
