TALENTED Bridlington youngsters are invited to apply for a grant to help them achieve their potential.
Each year The Parker Homes Trust, set up to benefit children in Burlington, but later extended to the whole of Bridlington, seeks boys or girls up to the age of 18 and who live in Bridlington to apply for grants.
Coun Margaret Chapman MBE, chairman of the Trustees, said: “In previous years young gymnasts, swimmers, athletes, musicians and others have benefited from a grant.”
The Trust was set up by Mr Parker who established the Parker Children’s Home in Marton Road. On its sale, the proceeds were put into the Trust and interest from the money received is used to benefit the youngsters.
Eligible applicants should complete an application form from the clerk to the Trustees, available on (01482) 393201 and return it before March 12.
