Police are appealing for information after a car was damaged during an altercation at Bridlington's McDonald's car park.

Officers want to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident at 1pm on Sunday (March 27).

The altercation took place between the driver of a silver Citroen Xsara and a white Kia Rio at the entrance to McDonald's car park on Bessingby Road.

It is alleged that one of the drivers kicked the door of the other’s car and drove away.

A police spokesman said: "If you saw anything and can help the police with their enquiries please call Humberside Police on 101 quoting reference 2177755."
