CONSTRUCTION workers gave families an Easter egg thank you for putting up with disruption during work in a Bridlington street.
Bramall Construction and Chevin Housing Association visited youngsters in Great Meadow Road to hand out chocolate Easter eggs.
The companies have been refurbishing homes in the area, putting in new kitchens, bathroom and central heating systems, as well as carrying out electrical upgrades to properties.
Ian Lally, site manager from Bramall Construction, said: “The eggs are a thank you to some of the families who have been so welcoming to us whilst we have been carrying out work in their homes recently.
“It has been a pleasure to get to know them.”
Louise Goacher, Housing Officer for Chevin Housing, said: “During refurbishment, residents have to put up with a lot of upheaval in their homes, so it’s nice that we have been able to do something for the children at this scheme for Easter with the support of Bramall and Tesco who provided some extra eggs for us to give away.”
