FORTY new jobs are going to be created when a Bridlington pub reopens its doors next month.

Brewery company Marston’s has confirmed that they are on site at the former Broadacres pub, on Kingsgate, completing refurbishment works.

The company announced that around forty jobs will be created, although Marston’s bosses remained tight lipped on what the new pub might be called.

A Marston’s spokesperson said: “We are on site and work is going well with the refurbishments and the pub restaurant is gearing up for a September 10th opening.

“We’ll serve up tasty family meals seven days a week from our Milestone Rotisserie menu and around forty jobs will be created as part of the development.”

The Broadacres closed earlier this year.
