The local Cambridge and Oxford Owners Club are gearing up for a spectacular rally of classic cars combined with raising funds for Marie Curie nursing within the East Yorkshire area.
The event will be held on Sunday May 8 in the beautiful surroundings of Burton Agnes Hall. The local fundraising group will be assisting and there will be a tombola, cake stall and the chance to see some fabulous motor cars.
The public are very welcome to come along and enjoy a lovely day out.
Prizes will be awarded by a Marie Curie nurse at 3pm.
As the adopted charity for this event, Community Fundraiser, Michael Streets said: “We are delighted to have the wonderful support of the event organisers and would like to extend our very special thanks for the astonishing amount of time and effort that the club members give to ensure it’s such an enjoyable day for everyone.”
Funds raised from this event will enable Marie Curie to provide more home nursing care for patients in East Yorkshire who are terminally ill.
Every £20 raised by the Marie Curie Cancer Care Daffodil team will provide an hour of Marie Curie nursing care.
