A village school has retained a national quality standards grading for the fourth year in succession.

Wold Newton primary school has once again
applied for and been awarded the Basic Skills Quality
Mark 2 after an inspection which marks its progress and improvements made
in English and maths,
considered the basic skills which form the bedrock of a good education.

The Quality Mark inspector felt the 100 children on roll, including nursery through to years six, were knowledgeable and enthusiastic about their work
and keen to improve themselves.
