Artists were on hand to guide amateur creative types at Bridlington Priory.

The Priory, as part of the 900th birthday anniversary celebration, hosted two-hour workshops in which participants experimented with a range of media.

Professional artists Sharon Winter, Katherine McDermid and Leanne Broadbent, helped improve participants’ drawing techniques.

Leanne said: “I had a lovely time, and the students enjoyed their experience too.”

Places are available for the final two Priory 900 craft workshops, Calligraphy on August 24 and Working with Textiles on September 7. Visit priory900.org or telephone 07583 432163 to book.
