Police need witnesses to motorcycle collision in Bridlington

POLICE want to speak to witnesses to a road traffic collision that happened in Bridlington on Sunday November 25 at approximately 5.30pm.

A motorcycle and a red Ford Fiesta collided outside the Seabirds pub on Fortyfoot in Bridlington.

The Fiesta was leaving the car park of the Seabirds when it hit a female motorcyclist who was travelling in the direction of the town centre.

The motorcycle then crashed into a bollard in a central reservation resulting in the 21-year-old rider suffering bruising to her left leg and a broken right arm.

The car drove away up Fortyfoot heading away from town without stopping or exchanging details.

A witness stopped and spoke to the motorcyclist and gave her the registration of the car but did not give their details and police are particularly keen to speak to this person as well as anyone else who may have witnessed the incident.
