Police are hoping to trace this man after he took the opportunity to steal money left behind at a supermarket self service checkout.

A woman had used the self service checkouts at Morrisons, on Bessingby Road, Bridlington at around 10.20am on March 20, paid for her goods and selected £30 cash back - but left without collecting the money.

A man behind her picked up the money, visited the store’s cigarette kiosk, made a purchase and left without giving it back to her or a member of staff.

The man can be seen on the pictures with balding grey hair, wearing a thick, dark coloured jacket.
