Police appeal after New Years Day assault

Police are investigating an alleged assault of two men which took place at around 1am on New Years Day, Thursday 1 January 2015.

Two Bridlington men, a 54-year-old, who suffered cuts and bruising to his face, and a 33-year-old, who suffered a broken nose and cuts and bruising to his face, are alleged to have been assaulted in an incident in early hours of New Years Day in the Telegraph Public House on Quay Road in Bridlington.

Police would like to speak to three men who are believed to have been involved in the indecent.

They are described as white, in their 20s, one was wearing a green t-shirt, another was wearing a greeny/grey jacket and the third was wearing a creamy/grey top. The trio may have been in Bridlington prior to the incident and police are asking anyone who witnessed the assault or who may have seen them that night to contact them as soon as possible to help identify them.
