Dig out your gingham and pull on your dancing boots and visit the Spotlight Theatre for another yippee-ay-aye, hum-dinger of a show.
Oklahoma comes to the theatre, on West Street, from this Saturday April 20 until Sunday April 28.
The story revolves around the romance between cowboy Curly and farm girl Laurey and is one of the classic Rodgers and Hammerstein musicals.
Well known songs will include ‘Oh what a beautiful morning, ‘Surrey with the fringe on top’ and the title song ‘Oklahoma’.
The original Broadway production opened on March 31, 1943 and was a box-office smash running for an incredible 2,243 performances.
There will be slightly fewer chances to see it at the Spotlight, but you can book now to secure a seat. Tickets cost £8 for adults and £5 for children, and all performances are at 7.30pm except Sundays at 2.30pm.
