A colourful new shop selling traditional sweets opened in Bridlington last week.
Candy Crush, at 224 Quay Road, opened on Saturday and owner Rebecca Riby, from North Frodingham, is hoping for a busy few weeks in the run up to Christmas.
Candy Crush sells many traditional sweets you might expect but also offers a range of sugar free confectionary suitable for diabetics and other groups.
Rebecca also says the shop will order in sweets that people are finding hard to get.
Rebecca said: “I’ve always wanted to open a sweetshop in Bridlington and I think it’s a good location on Quay Road on the school run. I used to live in Bridlington but moved to Spain for two years to develop properties. “I’m doing Christmas hampers, hot drinks and soups which I’m hoping will sell well in the cold weather.
“The shop is very eye catching you can’t miss it, it’s bright pink and everybody’s looking at it when they go past.”
Rebecca would like to thank joiner Geoff Leason for completing work on the shop so quickly.
