MEMBERS of Bridlington Combined Cadet Force celebrated their passing out ceremony last week.
Sixty-one new recruits passed out at a ceremony at Bridlington School, watched by friends and family.
Joined by older cadets, the recruits marched on sections and standards, including a Royal Navy Association standard, the Royal Engineers Standard and the CCF’s own standard.
Each new recruit was presented with a certificate of completion, enjoying their first opportunity to show off their new skills.
Headteacher at Bridlington School, Sarah Pashley, gave a speech saying how “proud” she was of all of the recruits, and promised them “many future opportunities to improve their skills and gain qualifications”.
