A MAN was attacked and robbed in broad daylight near Bridlington’s seafront.
Police say the 37-year-old was in Bright Crescent, cutting through gardens on the way to the seafront area in Beaconsfield Promenade between 1.45pm and 2pm last Monday, when a man ran up to him and told him to hand over his money.
He refused and was grabbed from behind and pulled to the ground, where he was kicked by two other men.
The victim took some money out of his pocket and gave it to the men before they ran off along Bright Crescent.
One of his attackers is described as white, with a tanned complexion, aged between 25 and 27 years, around 5ft 6in tall, of average build, with shoulder length dark brown hair.
He was wearing khaki trousers and a black and green jacket and carrying a large rucksack which appeared to be full.
He was also carrying a drinks can which had a gold top and a brown bottom and he spoke with a southern accent.
There is no description of the other two men.
