THE BRIDLINGTON and Driffield branch of the Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Society will once again hold an information and education event for people living with MS and their carers.
The theme of the event is ‘Keeping well and active’ which will address the physical, psychological and financial issues of living with MS.
MS Nurse Specialist Liz Hill, who helps deliver nurse-led support locally to over 200 patients, said: “Working in partnership with the local MS Society we have held information events for a number of years now and they have proved very popular with people living with MS and their carers.
“Anyone living with Multiple Sclerosis, or with an interest in MS, is invited to attend the event which we hope will be interesting and motivational, addressing not just the physical but psychological and social aspects of living with MS.”
The ‘Keeping Well and Active’ event will take place between 3pm and 7pm on Wednesday 26 September at Applegarth Court on Applegarth Lane - light refreshments will be provided. You can choose to attend the whole event or individual sessions.
