Man assaulted in Bridlington

POLICE are appealing for information following an incident which happened close to the corner of Prince Street and Garrison Square in Bridlington.

A 28-year-old man was walking alone just after midnight on Sunday March 4, when he was approached by two men.

One of the men is alleged to have assaulted him causing him to sustain a broken nose and a possible fractured eye socket, for which he received treatment at Scarborough General Hospital.

The offender is described a white male, 6ft tall with dark hair and aged in his mid 20s. He was wearing a white t-shirt with black detail on the front.

The man with him is described as a white male, around 5ft 11ins tall and aged in his mid 20s. He had ginger hair and was also wearing a white t-shirt.
