Police have arrested a man suspected of knocking off car wing mirrors on a Bridlington street.

Officers are appealing for witnesses after at least three cars had wing mirrors knocked off at around 2.40am on Wednesday 13 April on Sewerby Road close to Jubilee Grove, Bridlington.

A police spokesman said: "A 33-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of criminal damage but has been released on police bail pending further enquiries.

"Officers would like to speak to anyone who saw the cars being damaged in the street or who saw people in the area around the time of the incidents."
