THEMES of above and below are explored in a new photography exhibition being held at the Richard Burton Gallery.

The exhibition presents work from Steve Race and George Stoyle, photographers for Yorkshire Coast Nature, and opened its doors to the public last Saturday.

Underwater photography of the Yorkshire coastline’s marine wildlife is on display at the gallery on Main Street, Buckton, until Saturday, December 15.

Coun Richard Burton, who runs the art centre, said: “It has gone really well, and we have had a great number of people come along. There is a fascinating array of under water photography.”

Steve Race is a director of nature tourism company Yorkshire Coast Nature and George Stoyle is a marine ecologist who specialises in underwater and landscape photography. He has recently joined the Yorkshire Coast Nature team.

Yorkshire Coast Nature is a local company dedicated to providing wildlife experiences.

For more information on the exhibition contact the gallery on 850296.
