Woman injured in Rudston traffic collision

A woman was taken to hospital with suspected back injuries following a road traffic collision in Rudston.

On Sunday 23 March two cars were involved in a collision on the B1253 in Rudston, close to the High Street.

Yorkshire Ambulance Service sent a rapid response vehicle to the scene, after receiving the call at 11.21am, along with an ambulance. The air ambulance was also mobilised.

The woman was taken by road to Scarborough Hospital for treatment.

Humberside Fire and Rescue were also on the scene to remove the car door, enabling the injured woman to leave the car.
