A Bridlington actor is taking his one-man-show to the Edinburgh Free Fringe Festival this summer.
John Slater,70, of Sands Lane, was pleased to hear his comedy show, An Audience With Walter J Plinge, had been accepted by the famous monthlong festival on Tuesday 4 March.
“I’m kind of a missionary really to help people see the funny side of life,” said John.
Walter J Plinge is styled as John’s alter-ego, who makes observations and draws humour from everyday situations.
A preview of the performance is on atFlamborough Village Hall on Sunday 16 March at 2.30pm.
Tickets are available atBridlington Tourist Information Centre and The Crab Pot Crat Shop in Flamborough.
