Time to Twitter

THE Free Press has already achieved its aim of 1,000 fans on the social networking website Facebook.

Now, we are turning our attention to Twitter too.

You can find out which stories the newsroom is working on and get other information about the newspaper by signing up to be a Free Press follower on Twitter.

It is a website which allows users to update friends and colleagues on what they are doing by using short, regular messages.

We'll still be keeping readers up to speed on Facebook – and on our own website www.bridlingtonfreepress.co.uk of course – but if you use Twitter, why not come and join us on that site too?

What do you think of this? You can post your comments about this story by simply registering on the site.

To read more stories about Bridlington, as well as comprehensive sport and leisure coverage, jobs, property, motors and family announcements, buy the Free Press which is published every Thursday.
