Teenager stabbed in Bridlington
POLICE are hunting for a knife and a jacket that could be linked to the stabbing of a teenager on New Burlington Road, Bridlington.
The 16-year-old boy was stabbed three times in his legs at around 6.20pm on Wednesday evening after being approached by a man and a woman who asked to use his mobile phone.
When the boy refused, he was stabbed by the man who then ran from the scene with the woman in the direction of East Road, towards Cardigan Road.
The male suspect is described as being white, between 5ft 6in and 5ft 9in tall and of a skinny build with little hair and brown stubble.
He was wearing a waist-length, blue and dark grey camouflage style waterproof jacket and police believe it may have been discarded, along with the knife, in Bridlington following the attack.
The female suspect is described as white, about 5ft 6in tall with blonde hair and was referred to by her companion as 'Debbie'.
The knife used in the attack is described as being a 6in long black-handled kitchen knife.
