BRIDLINGTON woke to a winter wonderland on Sunday morning after temperatures plummeted to minus six and minus eight in places on Saturday night.

The winter sunshine tempted people out to enjoy it while it lasted, Sewerby Hall was a local favourite for sledging, but as these photographs sent in by readers show, it was cold, it was wet, but it was there to enjoy.
