Martongate pupils enjoy Myro book prizes
Class five at Martongate Primary School with their Myro books.
SCHOOL children in Bridlington have been discovering the exciting adventure world of Myro the world’s smallest plane thanks to the Free Press.
Pictured are pupils from Class five at Martongate Primary School with their copies of the Myro books and activity packs which they won as part of a Free Press competition.
The winner of the competition was class five pupil Mia who won six Myro picture books and a Myro activity pack, while her classmates won a set of six Myro books and 35 activity packs.
Class teacher Kim Davison said the books came as a lovely early Christmas present for the pupils.
The fully-illustrated stories, which took British entrepreneur Nick Rose seven years to complete, follow the adventures of Myro the Microlight and his pilot Michael as he settles into his new Australian home and makes new aeroplane friends.
