Man denies not leaving centre
n A WAKEFIELD man has denied that he failed to comply with a police officer on a night out in Bridlington.
Keith Thomas Harold, of Garden House Lane, Tingley, Wakefield, pleaded not guilty to the charge at Bridlington Magistrates Court last Wednesday (Jan 25).
Prosecuting, Victoria Mills told the court that Mr Harold, 57, had been on a night out with his two sons and had became involved in a scuffle, after which he was told by an on duty police constable that he should leave the town centre for a period of 24 hours.
Mr Harold failed to do so, according to Mrs Mills.
A trial date was set for April 17 at Bridlington, and Mr Harold was granted unconditional bail until that time.
