Police are appealing for witnesses after a 57-year-old man had a glass smashed into his face whilst chatting to other drinkers outside the Revelstoke Hotel.
The assault on 6 May between 11.50pm and 12.15am saw the victim suffer cuts to his forehead, nose and eye, which required treatment at hospital.
It is alleged an earlier incident had occurred inside the pub which led to the second altercation outside the Revelstoke Hotel.
Police have arrested and interviewed a man, however independent witnesses are now required to give their version of events.
