Man assaulted on St John’s Avenue in Bridlington

Police want information after a man was assaulted on St John’s Avenue in Bridlington on Wednesday January 8.

Some time between 9.25pm and 9.45pm the man was walking along St John’s Avenue towards the junction with Bessingby Road and approached the local shop.

Three other men walked towards the victim and one of them allegedly punched him to the right hand side of his head.

The three men then continued along St John’s Avenue towards the junction with Quay Rd, Bridlington.

The victim did not know the three men, and there does not appear to have been any provocation for the assault.

The suspects are all described as white and in their late teens, of slim to medium build and approximately 5ft 10ins tall.
