Launch of Spa guide

YOU can now find out who is appearing at the Spa in coming months with the release of the venue's new brochure.

Acts including Jimmy Carr, Jane McDonald and Jools Holland grace the pages of the latest brochure and the Spa is set to release 40,000 copies tomorrow.

Coun Jane Evison, portfolio holder for cultural services, housing and public protection at East Riding of Yorkshire Council, said: “Visitors to the Spa can look forward to yet another season of top quality entertainment. This brochure will give people plenty to look forward to over the next few months.

“The box office at The Spa can expect a surge in calls as people make sure they have got tickets for the acts they won’t want to miss.”

Other highlights coming to the Spa this season include the Brid Bash in partnership with Viking FM, which is soon to announce another chart topping line-up, Music of the Night featuring Escala at Sewerby Hall and Gardens, the ever-popular summer show and the Bridlington Comedy Festival from Saturday 24 until Saturday 31 of July.

The brochure, which covers events from March until September this year, will be available from tomorrow to visitors to the Spa and East Riding tourist information centres, online at www.thespabridlington.com or by contacting the box office on 678258.
