Karate kids raise funds for trip to Japan

A FUND-raising afternoon to help a group of young martial artists travel to Japan is being held next month.

There will be a jumble sale, cake stall and children’s face painting at the Community Resource Centre in Victoria Road on Saturday, April 13. It gets underway at 1.30pm and will also feature a karate demonstration by some of the youngsters who will benefit from the money raised.

A 12-strong team from the Bridlington Martial Arts and Fitness Centre will represent England at July’s Kyukushin Karate World Championships.
