A woman has been left with spinal injuries after a single road traffic collision at Danes Dyke in Flamborough.
The adult female was medically trapped when the fire service got the phonecall at 8.03pm on Saturday.
It is unclear how the incident happened with the vehicle on all four wheels when the fire crew arrived at 8.10pm. Two pumps from Bridlington and one from East Hull attended the scene.
The patient was complaining of a spinal injury leading to the lady being released by the fire service after removing the roof of the vehicle. A battery operated saw, glass management equipment and a casulaty shield were used to get the patient out safely through the rear of the car.
She was taken out of the vehicle on a spinal board before being taken to hospital by the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
