Drugs charges
A MAN has appeared in court charged with production and possession of drugs.
Dean Spencer Harris, of Widecombe Lane, Nottingham, pleaded not guilty to a charge of producing cannabis in the town, and two charges of possession of class A and a class B drugs, amphetamines, which relate to incidents on December 13 last year. Harris, 41, also pleaded not guilty to a separate charge of burglary, relating to an incident on December 25. Due to complications with the prosecution evidence the three drug charges will be deferred to a pre-trial review on February 15, at which time a trial date will be set. Mr Harris will return to Bridlington Magistrates Court to face trial for the burglary charge on March 27. He was given bail until the next hearing, on condition he does not enter Bridlington, with a doorstep curfew requirement between 9pm and 5am.
