Did you witness road rage incident on Marton Road, Bridlington?

A DRIVER told police he was left feeling “afraid and upset” after a verbal altercation with another motorist in Bridlington.

The 52-year-old man drove from New Pasture Lane estate on to Marton Road in Bridlington where he states the driver of a flat back truck allegedly pulled out in front of his car forcing him to stop.

The driver of the truck is said to have got out of his vehicle and approached the car before starting to shout and swear at the driver, using abusive and threatening language and behaviour.

Following the altercation the man got back into the truck and the two drivers drove off.

The truck driver is described as a white man, aged in his early 30s, 6ft tall, with a stocky build. He was wearing a red woolly hat, a white fleece top, jeans and work boots.

Police say the truck he was driving was a flat back truck with a white cab and the letters JRC written on it.

Now officers would like to speak to the truck driver, and anyone who witnessed the dispute on Marton Road, close to the Scarborough Road mini roundabout on Tuesday March 19.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Humberside Police on the non emergency number 101 referring to log number 175 of March 19 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
