TELEVISION audiences may have bid farewell to the Great British Bake Off for another year – but one group of cubs in Bridlington have been busy holding their own bake off contest.

Pictured are the 1st Bridlington Cubs who held their own bake off during national baking week.

The cubs created their own bake off buns and baked them under pressure at their latest meeting held at the Priory Rooms.

A spokesperson for the 1st Bridlington Cubs said: “It was great to see the cubs working in teams to create ‘probably the best buns in Brid’.”

The ingredients were kindly supplied by the town’s Tesco store.
