Bridlington garden centre targeted by thieves

A garden centre has been allegedly targeted by thieves who stole a large garden ornament and attempted to steal other items.

Humberside Police is appealing for information after a resin ornament in the shape of a lamb, was allegedly stolen from Eastfield Garden Centre, on Easton Road in Bridlington.

The thieves allegedly visited the garden centre twice during the night, on Sunday 25 May. On the first occasion they are said to have stolen the ornament and on the second visit they were disturbed by the keyholders as they attempted to steal concrete bird baths and other resin ornaments.

Some items were damaged in the attempted theft and the suspects got away before they could be detained.
