BREAKING NEWS: Woman in serious condition after crash near Octon

A WOMAN has been taken to hospital with serious injuries following a crash near Octon this morning (Friday November 16).

The woman, who was believed to have been driving a grey Suzuki car, was involved in a collision with a telegraph pole on the B1249 shortly before 10am.

A road closure was put in place on the Octon side of the Driffield roundabout.

A spokesperson for Humberside Police said the woman had suffered serious injuries in the crash.
