Bempton village news
Bempton Village Hall committee – held its AGM last Thursday.
Matters discussed included the position on applications for grants for our new hall.
As planning permission is already in force we need to start work as soon as possible.
Fund-raising was also discussed and we were reminded of the quiz night at the Legion Club to be held on Friday, July 10 at 8pm.
It will raise funds for the old village hall and it is hoped as many teams as possible will attend.
The next meeting of the village hall committee will be on Thursday, July 23 at 7.30pm. If anyone can help with fund-raising or other practical assistance, please attend.
