Bempton village news
THE Wednesday Club – enjoyed a day out in Harrogate in May.
The next meeting will be on Wednesday, June 10 when the club will be holding a cream tea at 2pm in the village hall.
Friends and non-members are very welcome to join in.
St Michael's Church – will be hosting a cookery demonstration in the village hall at 7pm on Tuesday, June 16, based on easy recipes and making use of leftovers.
Tickets are 5 to include refreshments and are available from Kate Veitch or Andrew Graham.
On June 28 the Bempton open gardens event will be held.
The cost will be 2.50 per person to include free tea or coffee (accompanied children go free).
Bempton Methodist Chapel – will host a summer fair on Saturday, June 27 at 2pm. There will be cream teas and lots of stalls.
The RSPCA – will be holding a summer fayre in Bempton Village Hall on Sunday, June 21 from 10am-3pm.
Admission will be 50p, to include tea and biscuits.
