PARK Rose Ceramics has ceased trading with the loss of around 15 jobs.
Michael Baitson, of Gilbert Baitson Auction Rooms, is the agent acting for the directors to liquidate assets at Park Rose Ceramics and confirmed that the company has ceased trading.
He believes the tough economic climate has contributed to the closure, and confirmed that “between 10 and 20” staff had lost their jobs.
A creditors meeting will take place on July 20, according to Driffield based corporate recovery licensed insolvency practitioners, Redman Nichols Butler.
The closure will only affect the ceramics business and is not connected with any other business at the Park Rose Village, on Covert Lane, Carnaby.
The Park Rose Birds of Prey Centre, the Original Factory Shop, children’s play area The Barn and the Park Rose Cafe are all unaffected by the closure.
The Free Press were unable to contact the directors of Park Rose Ceramics for comment.
