TWO lifeboats were called to help a Bridlington fishing vessel after it suffered a power failure off the Withernsea coast.
The Humber lifeboat attended the Lisa Marie, a Bridlington fishing boat with three crew on board, after they reported an engine problem.
Bridlington’s all weather lifeboat Marine Engineer was called by the Humber Coastguard just after 9am, on the morning of Wednesday September 19.
Second Coxswain Stuart Tibbet and his crew brought the Lisa Marie safely back to Bridlington Harbour. A fuel pump fault was thought be the reason for the engine failure.
