BRIDLINGTON’S favourite seafront event brought out the visitors.

They were also in a generous mood for Saturday’s annual Lifeboat Day which raised more than £4,000 for the charity.

Crew spokesman Andy Brompton, said: “It is a great result, especially when you consider the current financial situation. We want to thank everyone who supported us.”

As well as the chance to clamber about on the inshore and offshore boats there were a variety of stalls for people to visit and entertainment from Bridlington Girls Choir.
