I was amazed to read in the Free Press that the coach park is on the move to the existing Limekiln Lane Car Park.
This move would be great for the travelling community, because they would now be able to get two weeks’ holiday with a sea view.
The reason I say this is because the travellers usually move onto the existing coach park from time to time, usually once a year.
If the coaches are to use the existing Limekiln Lane Car Park, the barrier that now prevents vehicles over the height of 2.1 metres or 6ft 10ins from entering the car park, would have to be removed to allow the coaches to get in.
This is a stupid idea, that has not been given any thought whatsoever, in my view.
I would like my views to be placed on record.
When the travelling community moves on, it is the council taxpayers of Bridlington who would pick up the bill for clearing up the site.
