THE WARM weather means Bridlington’s land train service running on Bridlington’s North Promenade will continue until this Sunday.
The service should have stopped last Sunday but Kirsty Dingle, foreshore inspector, said: “The weather was set to be warm and sunny this week so there are still a great deal of holiday makers in the town.
“Therefore, we have decided to continue our service.”
The trains, which run every half hour between 10.30am and 4.30pm and stop at Leisure World, Sewerby Hall and Gardens and Limekiln Lane, will also operate at weekends during October and at half-term.
Prices start from as little as £1 for children and £1.70 for adults depending on the journey.
The service may be suspended in the event of severe weather so it is advised that interested parties call the Foreshores Office on 678255 before planning a trip.
