GET ready for another summer of top entertainment as Yorkshire Coast’s Got Talent returns to the Revelstoke Hotel.

Audition dates for the competition have now been announced, so if you have a special talent, then get involved and go along to the Revelstoke, on Flamborough Road, for one of the three auditions on Saturday June 25, July 2 and July 9 before heats begin on Friday July 15.

Great prizes are on offer, £1,000 for the winner, £500 for second place and £250 for third place, so there are no excuses not to go along and get involved in an audition, whatever your talent may be.

This year’s Yorkshire Coast’s Got Talent is sponsored by Lloyd Dowson chartered accountant and business advisors, and is supported by the Bridlington Free Press.

Last year, the competition raised £3,500 for the Katie Walker Cancer Trust, and will again be donating to the charity this year.

This year, the event features a dedicated children’s contest for under 12s, Junior Yorkshire Coast’s Got Talent, with a final to be held on the same evening as the adult final, on September 25.

Entrance to the competition is open to anyone in the area who wants to show off their talent, but all entrants must be amateurs.

No acts that feature fire, or animals, can be accepted for health and safety reasons.

To sign up for an audition, either complete a copy of the application form printed here, collect one from reception at the Free Press office on Prospect Street, download one from www.revelstokehotel.co.uk, or call into the Revelstoke on Flamborough Road.

Last year’s organiser and presenter Keely Barugh will again be hosting the heats, with different judges appearing every week.
