HUNDREDS of visitors to Sewerby Hall and Gardens over the weekend were able to enjoy a great big picnic.

Family fun was the order of the day as the venue hosted its Big Picnic event which saw crowds of people of all ages turn out to enjoy a wide range of activities and games.

These included a huge bouncy inflatable pirate ship and a giant inflatable Aladdin slide, magic shows, donkey rides, balloon modelling, face painting and have-a-go-archery.

Free Press photographer Paul Atkinson went along to photograph all the picnickers in action.
